A 27-year-old man is fighting for his life after being the victim of a one-punch attack at a Mandurah pub on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the Silver Sands Tavern on Mandurah Terrace around 4.30pm.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said paramedics treated the man for serious head injuries and possible spine injuries before he was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital.
“He was unconscious [when paramedics arrived],” he said.
“The friend states he was punched in the face and fell backwards onto the corner of a wall and then fell back.”
It is understood the alleged attacker was not at the scene when emergency services arrived.
Mandurah Detectives are investigating the incident.
