Located at Dwellingup, Hotham Valley Railway has three historic train services for visitors to enjoy rail travel of a time gone by.
The railway runs east and west from Dwellingup into the Darling Range and through the Hotham Valley.
The Forest Train, Restaurant Train and Steam Ranger Train are each very different and uniquely exciting “Time Machines” that transport you to yester-year.
The Dwellingup Forest Train which operates each Saturday and Sunday (except on Steam Ranger operating days) takes passengers 8km eastward to Etmilyn, along WA's last surviving lightly built developmental railway.

At Etmilyn, for those that like a nature stroll, there is a 20 minute trail walk through the beautiful plant life and seasonal wildflowers of the jarrah forest.
Each Saturday night and selected Friday nights visitors to Hotham Valley Railway at Dwellingup can enjoy a five course meal on Hotham’s vintage dining car Restaurant Train while it meanders through the forest which is softly floodlit from the train.
There is also the Steam Ranger train which operates westward down the Darling Scarp with a Steam Locomotive each Sunday during the cooler months of May to October.
Bookings can be made for all trains and are essential for the Restaurant Train so call 6278 1111 or go to hothamvalleyrailway.com.au
