Seeing local seniors move gracefully with a small ball might seem a little odd, but for the 20 Murray residents learning Chi Ball, they’re totally into the groove.
“I feel really uplifted after coming to Chi Ball,” first-time participant Ronnie Beaton said.
“It’s such a great class, and seems to be becoming quite popular.”
Held every Monday morning at 9:30 at the Murray Lesser Hall, Chi Ball promotes balance and wellbeing through exercises, meditation and movement to music.
We have accredited Chi Ball and Tai Chi instructors, and it’s only $5 per class,” Seniors Recreation Council president Jan McGlinn said.
Participants are required to register by telephoning Jan McGlinn on 9535 4749 or emailing dmc56456@bigpond.net.au.
