THE Brighton Hotel is the longest standing pub in the Mandurah region after it was founded in 1894 by Charles Tuckey who intended to use it as his family home.
In October of 1895 it became Mandurah’s first Hotel and has been trading for the 108 years since then.
The New Brighton Hotel was built in 2004 and has attracted locals and tourists with its views across Mandjar Bay.
The destination venue is owned by the Australian Hospitality and Leisure Group and is run by locals for locals.
The Brighton Hotel team headed down for Crab Fest last weekend, cooking up fresh seafood on the spot for the hungry crowds.
It was a very popular stall on the day, with customers lining up to choose from the local seafood and sauce selection, or grab a delicious bratwurst or knackwurst.
The Brighton Hotel provides quality food offerings all day every day from 11am-9pm and has two function areas, live music over the weekend and is a hotspot for Mandurah nightlife.

The Brighton Hotel often hosts national and international DJs and frequently participates in community events such as last weekend’s Crab Fest.
The Brighton Hotel has many facades and is a chameleon in its operations.
By day, it offers sports and food menus for all patrons including seniors and tradesmen and by night it offers different activities such as poker leagues on Tuesdays, quiz nights on Wednesdays and karaoke on Thursdays.
Over the weekend the Brighton is heaving with Mandurah nightlife.

The Brighton Hotel offers a seniors lunch special on Monday to Thursday from noon until 2pm, on Tuesday nights there is an ALP Poker League from 6pm and $15 schnitzels, on Wednesday nights there is a pool competition from 6pm, a quiz night from 7pm and $15 prawn stars, on Thursday nights there will be Karaoke from 8pm, half price cocktails and $15 steak night, on Friday and Saturday nights there are $4 basics, DJ from 8pm and drink specials all night and on Sunday there is a live band from 1pm, $10 pizza, $15 jugs and $5 coronas all day.
