The Mandurah Community Swap Meet is on this Sunday, May 22, with locals gathering in the car park of Halls Head shopping centre to trade pre-used goods and plants.
This week it will be hosted by Mandurah Disabled Support and Recreational Respite (MADSAR), a group who have been running for over 21 years in the Peel region to support those in need.
They have been a part of the swap meet for five years, to help cover volunteer expenses and their members’ outings.
They run on volunteers alone, with only 1 paid staff member, and will be holding a sausage sizzle and drinks to raise money for a new kiln for their members at West Murray pottery group.
Sellers should arrive at 5am, and must pay $7 for a bay, which includes stallholder public liability insurance.
For guidelines and enquiries about stallholding, call 0488997532.
Buyers should arrive betwen 6am and 11.30am.
