Major Crash investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a crash in Scarborough on Saturday night in which a Silver Sands man was killed.

At 10:40pm, a Ducati motorcycle collided with a green Toyota Tarago at the intersection of Ventnor Street and West Coast Highway.
The rider of the Ducati, a 34 year old man from Silver Sands received serious injuries and was taken to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for treatment, but later died.
The driver of the Toyota Tarago, a 61 year old man from Scarborough received serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for medical treatment.
He is currently in a critical but stable condition.
A police spokesperson said the Ducati had earlier evaded police, although they had aborted a pursuit prior to this crash occurring.
Police would like so speak to anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash or the crash itself.
