Family and friends of local surfers Adam Coleman and Dean Lucas paid tribute to their loved ones this weekend with an emotional paddle-out off Golden Bay.
More than 100 surfers took to the water with flowers to remember their mates who were killed in Mexico last year.
Local photographer Jake Beazley said he was "absolutley honoured to be given the oppurtunity to doccument the beautiful paddle out ceremony for Dean Lucas and Adam Coleman".
