A WOMAN who fell asleep at the wheel rolled her car on Wednesday morning causing long traffic delays near Mandurah Bridge.
The 20-year-old was taken to Peel Health Campus with minor injuries by St John ambulance staff.
A St John Ambulance spokesperson said the woman fell asleep at the wheel which caused her car to hit the the right hand side of the road and roll.
Police were called to the scene at 6.20am where the upturned vehicle had caused long delays in early morning traffic.
The bridge was closed off as the car was removed, with traffic being diverted through town and over the Old Bridge.
Traffic was originally re-opened with one lane north and one lane south to alleviate the traffic jam.
