ROALD Dahl villains and heroes filled Mandurah Baptist College Primary School library last week when students dressed as their favourite characters.
The year 4 students were reading Roald Dahl literature as part of their poetry studies.
Each child from the two year groups read their favourite Roald Dahl poem with some children putting pen to paper and creating their own.
Year 4 teacher Isobel Gee-Pemberton said the students really enjoyed dressing up and responded well to the writing task.
Student Madison Stitt dressed up as Piggy and said she was excited as her favourite author was Roald Dahl.
“I love reading The Giraffe, Pelly and Me and really enjoyed performing my own poem,” she said.
