FOUR men were rescued Sunday night about two nautical miles off Falcon after being swept from their boat into the ocean by a wave.
Police Airwing were notified of an EPIRB activated by the men about 11pm.
The men were thrown into the water after their boat was hit by a wave.
A volunteer marine rescue boat and the Police helicopter rushed to their location.
The men were rescued and returned safely to shore by volunteer marine rescue.
Four men – aged 43, 41, 32, and 30 – were taken to Peel Health Campus with injuries that were not life-threatening.
It is believed that the men’s boat sank shortly after.
