Despite the hot weather Dudley Park Primary School students, teachers and parents were running around the oval to raise funds for a new cooker on Friday.

The parents and citizens committee organised the fun run for the fourth year and hoped to raise the thousands needed to purchase a new school canteen oven.
Parent and citizens president Tracy Bailey said it was a great activity for the whole school community to get involved with.
"We're also selling a cookbook which the students have made with the funds raised going towards the new oven,” she said.
