As a result of police officers working closely with an Armadale second hand dealer, stolen property worth $15,000 has been discovered and seized.
This business has become a secondary victim of the theft offence.
On the information received, Waroona police officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Waroona on Friday which resulted in more stolen property being recovered.
Police will allege the man committed a burglary at a Waroona residence on Saturday, June 6 and stole about $20,000 worth of property including electronic equipment and a significant amount of jewellery items, some considered heirlooms.
It will be further alleged the man arranged for some of the jewellery items to be exchanged for about $1800 in cash at the Armadale second hand dealership over several transactions.
The 22-year-old man was bailed to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday, July 24.
He faces offences of aggravated burglary, stealing and three counts of fraud.
A 22-year-old woman will be summonsed for one count of fraud at a later date.
