Rockingham Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with their investigation into an incident in Waroona on December 15, 2014.
At about 7pm, five offenders smashed their way into the bottle shop of a hotel located on South Western Highway Waroona, using large pieces of concrete.
A maintenance worker heard the commotion and when he went to investigate was assaulted by one of the offenders.
The 44 year old victim was kicked in the groin and received a laceration to his hand after cans of alcohol and pieces of concrete were thrown at him.
The offenders fled in a white sedan, possibly a Ford Falcon.
The offenders are described as being 17 to 30 years of age, with dark skin, slim to medium builds, approximately 178cms to 180cms tall and short dark hair.
One offender was wearing knee length white shorts, a black t-shirt with a circular white logo on the front, a white and black cap with a black logo and dark grey skate shoes.
The second offender was wearing dark coloured knee length shorts, a black shirt with white short sleeves and a white logo on the front, a blue cap with a white logo, and black and white skate shoes.
The third offender was wearing maroon boxer shorts over black track suit pants with white stripes down the legs, a white t-shirt, a grey, red and white hooded jacket, a white cap and white runners or skate shoes.
The fourth offender was wearing black knee length shorts, dark coloured chequered long sleeved shirt, a white cap with a red peak and Chicago Bulls logo on the front and black skate shoes.
The fifth offender was wearing green, blue, yellow and black board shorts and a light brown hooded jumper with a white logo on the front.
