Students from Merredin College were dressed to the nines for a night out at their 2015 school ball.
Cummins Theatre was the setting for the Merredin College school ball on Saturday night, with around 140 students and staff enjoying a magical evening of dancing and entertainment.
With inclement weather attempting to hamper the red carpet ceremony, students were glad to walk into a warm, elegant ballroom filled with balloons, fairy lights and a Carnivàle atmosphere.
Official proceedings commenced at 7pm with a formal introduction by co-ordinator Matthew Baltovich and an address to students and parents by principal Bev Stanes.
Parents were then asked to leave the premises and so begun the music and dancing.
There were three presentations to be made during the evening; Best Couple, Best Dressed and the Belle and Beau of the Ball.
Year 12 students Jasmine Pollock and Austin Whitehouse were awarded Best Couple, Year 10 students Lauren Barrass and Jordy McLennan were awarded the Best Dressed, and the Belle and Beau went to Catie Manoni and George Heinrich.
The night was capped off with an eruption of confetti to bring down the curtain on an unforgettable evening.
Merredin College would like to express a huge thank you to the parents of students who attended.
A special mention must also be made to Wayne Manoni of Elders and Peter Hooper of Merredin Freightlines who supplied a very generous donation.
The night would not have been possible without the assistance of the community.
