MANDJAR Bay is shining bright for Christmas with the addition of three decorative trees.
Mayor Marina Vergone said she is pleased to unveil the three floating Christmas trees as part of the City’s festive decorations.
“The Christmas trees are designed to help bring vibrancy to our beautiful City for our community and visitors to enjoy,” she said.
The Christmas trees contain 8000 lights and the frames have been re-used.
The $30,000 trees were funded by Council as a Christmas initiative and will remain in place until January 5.
They are a trial project and the future direction will be assessed next year.
