MORE than 200 quilters from across Western Australia celebrated 20 years of collaboration on Sunday.
The group met at Fairbridge Village to share ideas and stories and donate quilts to a good cause, including to supported accommodation at Fairbridge and families who have suffered from domestic violence.
Quilters travel from as far as Albany and Geraldton to meet at Fairbridge for the annual weekend of quilts.
“Fairbridge greatly values the hours of craftsmanship of these ladies over the last 20 years and the generosity of their time in supporting Fairbridge to create a homely environment to the families and young people who access our services,” Fairbridge Village chief executive Mark Anderson said.
