MANDURAH is set for record-breaking warm weather this weekend with a maximum 28°c forecast for Saturday.
After severe thunderstorms last week, the weather has cleared with spring conditions improving this week.
Mandurah is set for a maximum 22°c for the majority of this week with sunny conditions and will heat up in the lead-up to the weekend.
Friday is forecast for a maximum 24°c before Saturday’s expected 28°c top.
Should the mercury hit 28°c, it would be Mandurah’s warmest day since April 11 this year.
According to Bureau of Meteorology figures, 28.2°c is the hottest September maximum on record, set back in 2012.
The warmer nights are set to roll in as well with Saturday’s minimum a balmy 17°c and Sunday’s minimum 18°c.
