THE Peel Multicultural Association will host a beauty pageant on Saturday, September 6 to celebrate Mandurah’s wide mix of cultures.

The Spring Festival Beauty Pageant 2014 will have several sections including evening gowns, swimwear, national costumes and a question and answer round.
Entrants Shantelle Bezant, Chato Josol and Elinor Sequitin said they were excited to compete.
”It’s just a bit of fun – it’s nice to get involved in a community event and getting dressed up will be exciting,” Ms Bezant said.
The event will be sponsored by Optimum Property and Finance Group, Sun Forum Mandurah, Mobile Massage and Beauty Distinction House of Health and Beauty.
Organiser Anibeth Desierto invited the Mandurah community to come along to Ac-Cent Mandurah, 63 Ormsby Terrace, Mandurah and celebrate multiculturalism in the Peel region.
Tickets are $15 or $20 for a family and include hot drinks and refreshments and doors open at 7pm.
