A FALCON man was fined $600 in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday after being convicted of possession of a prohibited drug.
Nathan Andrew Constantinidis did not appear but was found guilty after the court heard police uncovered 14.4 grams of cannabis leaf during a June 5 search of his home.
Mr Constantinidis was also ordered to pay costs.
Also convicted of prohibited drug possession in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday was Mitchell Jordan Davey who sent in a guilty plea.
The court heard Mr Davey had been in line at a local nightclub on June 21 when two blue pills fell out of his pocket.
The pills were found to be ecstasy and Mr Davey was fined $600 plus costs.
A Falcon woman was also fined for cannabis possession and cultivation of a prohibited plant.
Nancy Eileen McPherson did not appear in court on Tuesday but registered an endorsed guilty plea in relation to the charges.
The court heard police uncovered a small hydroponic “growing room” at Ms McPherson’s home on May 6.
They also found 27 grams of cannabis.
Ms McPherson was fined $1200 plus costs.
Magistrate Vivien Edwards ordered the destruction of all drugs.
