A reward is being offered to help find the killer of a man found dead in his Mandurah home in 2009.
The state government has offered up to $100,000 for information which leads to the conviction of a person or persons responsible for the murder of 60-year-old Robert Dalliston.
Mr Dalliston was found deceased in his home in Ward Street, Mandurah on January 15, 2009.
He was last seen catching a taxi from the Silver Sands Tavern in Mandurah to his home about 6pm on January 8, 2009.
Major crime squad detective inspector Anthony Lee hopes the reward will prompt someone to come forward to help solve this case.
"Mr Dalliston's death was one of the most violent crimes seen by major crime squad detectives and his family and friends remain extremely distraught over his death," he said.
"We remain committed to this ongoing investigation, and hope that this reward will bring forward members of the community with any information that can assist police."
