A Yunderup man will appear in court on Monday facing a string of charges, after allegedly stealing a car to assist a burglary.
The 44-year-old was charged with two counts of stealing and trespassing, burglary, stealing a car and reckless during to avoid capture.
Kensington Detectives will allege the man worked with a 18-year-old Pingelly man to take a black Ford Mustang from Lakelands and undertake a theft in Atwell.
About 5pm on Sunday, a police helicopter spotted the car travelling northbound on the Kwinana Freeway near Farrington Road in Leeming.

The theft in Atwell allegedly took place an hour prior to police identifying the car.
The police helicopter crew followed the car as it travelled into the Riverton area and allegedly saw the Yunderup man driving erratically.
In an attempt to stop the duo, several police cars attended the area and a tyre deflation device was unsuccessfully used on High Road.
The pair continued to travel through various Riverton streets while the helicopter crew monitored overhead.
Police made a second attempt to stop the vehicle with a tyre deflation device, this time forcing the car to stop in Tudor Avenue, Riverton.
Once stopped, the duo ran from the car.
The Yunderup man ran into nearby premises before walking out and being arrested by police.
The Pingelly man was locating nearby, hiding inside the yard of another property and was arrested.
The Pingelly man was charged with stealing a car, trespass and stealing.
Both men are due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on March 12.
