A Pinjarra man who smashed into a car when he drove against traffic to evade police during a pursuit in Falcon, has been taken to hospital with head injuries.
Police will allege the man turned into oncoming traffic along Old Coast Road, on Thursday.
Police spotted the man in Falcon around midday and chased his vehicle for about five minutes through the suburb.
The man, in his 20s, sustained a minor cut to his head and was taken to the Peel Health Campus via St John Ambulance.
The woman in the other car sustained minor bruising on her leg and was taken to the Peel Health Campus via St John Ambulance.
It is the second high speed police pursuit through Mandurah suburbs in two days.
Police and fire fighters attended the scene.
Police will continue to investigate.
