Luckily no one has been injured in a 15 minute police pursuit, that ended in Erskine on Wednesday morning.
A 29-year-old Mandurah man has been taken into custody over the incident.
Police will allege the man was driving a car that was stolen on January 18 from Mandurah.
The car had been involved in a previous pursuit near Spearwood where the driver managed to evade police, however authorities are yet to pinpoint whether the same driver was involved.
Police spotted the stolen Peugeot travelling along Old Coast Road about 10.35am and proceeded to chase the driver through various streets in Halls Head and Erskine.
The chase ended on Sticks Boulevard near the Mandurah Quay Resort and Waterside Restaurant.
After smashing into a tree, the driver drove the car towards the bus stop where police boxed him in.

A Guilderton Close resident, who didn’t want to be named, said the man had parked in her driveway to evade police.
Once a police car passed, the man allegedly reversed out and disappeared in the opposite direction.
At the time, the woman was hiding in her house and watching out the window.
She said the man was driving erratically, on the wrong side of the road and over curbs.
A local motorbike postman who witnessed the incident said the man seemed “casual and calm”, with one arm on the steering-wheel and one on his window ledge.
The postman, who didn’t want to be named, said he saw the driver weaving through the streets, with police on his tail, prior to the crash.
Worried about his safety, the postman stopped at a block of units and decided to wait until the man went past.
He said he was standing with a local resident just metres from the tree when the car crashed.
The postman said he was lucky he wasn’t standing closer to the road and that there was a large wall to hide behind at the front of the complex.
As the man had serviced that postal route for the last five years and knew the area well, he said it was easy to predict that the man would have to exit the area along Sticks Boulevard.
Mandurah police senior sergeant Rob Lewis said the man was taken to hospital by officers for precautionary measures and would participate in an interview later in the day.
Police will continue to investigate the incident.
