The Makers event organizer, Oliver Bazzani said that the decision was regrettable, but necessary.
“It’s such a shame because it was shaping up to be a really great event for the Mandurah community, but the forecast is saying it’s the biggest storm of the season, so it was an obvious decision to make in the end,” he said.
“The welfare and enjoyment of the community, vendors and volunteers are at the forefront of our mind in making this decision.”
