2018 has gotten off to a cracking start for the Peel region with plenty of events for the Mail to take photos at.
Mandurah’s K9 Rescue held a successful adoption day, Mandurah Cruises hosted a soiree, and Barracks Lane Piazza came alive as locals filtered around the precinct treating their taste buds to the wide variety on offer during the Mandurah Food Trucks - Summer Edition.
February saw the launch of Peel Bright Minds at Make Place, which celebrated the promotion of Entrepreneurship, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (ESTEAM) in the Peel region.
And hundreds of people gathered at Mandurah’s eastern foreshore to celebrate Kiwi culture at an official Waitangi Day event.
Crowds were entertained by both nostalgic and modern songs and dances inspired by the Maori culture.
