A 12-YEAR-OLD boy was taken to Peel Health Campus last night after a Halloween prank went wrong.
The boy was trick-or-treating with his mother and brother on Buckingham Drive in Wannanup near Frederick Way about 6.45-7pm when he was egged by a group of youths riding mopeds.
An egg hit the boy in the face, causing a serious eye injury.
His mother took him to Peel Health Campus where he received treatment.
Police believe the boy was egged by a group of up to 12 P-platers with six mopeds carrying two people each.
It is believed the boy will require ongoing medical attention for the injury.
Police would like to speak to those involved in the prank on the mopeds.
