The Mandurah, Pinjarra and Kwinana swimming clubs all converged on the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC) on Friday night for the Alcoa Joint Time Trials.
A total 95 swimmers hit the water with sanctioned trials allowing both the Pinjarra and Kwinana swimmers a chance to gain valuable experience in the 50-metre pool.
Mandurah Swimming Club secretary Jenny Cook said the meet was a great event for swimmers from all three clubs to mix with each other.
“Feedback from all clubs was extremely positive and many thanks go to the MARC staff and lifeguards who helped keep the meet on track,” she said.
“Fellowship between the clubs was also high, with the evening being topped off with a gold coin donation sausage sizzle.”
The Mandurah Swimming Club is currently celebrating being in its 50th year.
