Alcoa workers have helped brighten up a local crisis and transitional youth accommodation centre.
Calvary Youth Services received a new lick of paint in their living area, giving the safe haven for at-risk youths a face-lift.
Coordinator Lisa Dunne was thrilled with the new paint job and thanked the six Alcoa volunteers, who helped, for their time and effort.

“It’s so great and fresh,” she said.
The seven bed room house accommodates people aged 15-25 who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness.
As par of Alcoa’s employee volunteering initiative, through the Pinjarra Alumina Refinery, workers lend their time and expertise toward various community projects.
Non-profit organisations within the Shire of Murray and City of Mandurah can apply once a year for the support service.
