From getting an inside look into how the David Jones mall is progressing, to touring the new alfresco casual dining precinct.
The alfresco casual dining precinct pays respect to Mandurah’s love and fascination of the outdoors.
An impressive water oasis will be centre stage within the precinct. It will be surrounded by cafes and restaurants that feed that indoor to outdoor appetite Australians crave.
Ms McKenzie said the transformation, which has nearly doubled the size of Mandurah Forum, is on schedule.
“The buzz of construction continues with our team of builders and local tradespeople working hard to create the new-look Mandurah Forum,” she said.
The David Jones mall will see well-known fashion and beauty retailers catering to Mandurah’s premium market.
In the new David Jones mall, the stores are close to being complete ready for brands and retailers to start fitting out in the new year and the diamond designed roof seen throughout the centre is on track to be complete before Christmas.
The first thing that captures your eye in the food court is its sheer size. Ms McKenzie and Mr Fudge were quick to point out the diversity of the area. With space for food trucks, a stage, a playground and family-friendly dining amenities there’s something for everyone.
Mr Fudge said the new Clarice Street entrance and main entrance façade on Pinjarra Road was staring to take shape.
The highly anticipated launch of the latest stage of the redeveloped centre will be held in early 2018.
