Games, a bouncy castle, raffles and treats were on offer at the event.
School principal Shannon Wright said he was proud of how the day went and thanked staff and parents for their efforts in bringing the annual event to life.
The event takes about a year for the school’s P&C to bring together.
“The fete begins pretty much after the fete stops, so it’s a yearly process,” he said.
“This is a big event on our calendar.”
The generally raises around $5000 for various projects each year, making up around half of the P&C’s annual fundraising total.
“In previous years we’ve done things like shelters over our playgrounds,” he said.
“Last year the money raised at the fete went to our early childhood playground.
“We have a fantastic P&C. They really support the school which is outstanding.”
Money raised at this year’s event will go towards creating a new indigenous cultural garden at the school.
“We have quite a high aboriginal student population, which is pretty good,” he said.
“We’ve going to create an aboriginal cultural garden and I’ve been speaking to some parents about a women’s yarning place and men's place.
“[We’re] speaking to the community about what they’d like to see the money put to, because they fund most of it.”
Mr Wright said having a day of fun was a great opportunity for the stuff and students to meet and greet the local community that supports them.
