In a first time co-production with Mandurah Performing Arts Centre a world class team of circus theatre artists join with local emerging artists to create an epic spectacular circus show to open the Western Australian Regional Arts Summit in October.
FEARLESS combines circus, theatre, shadow puppetry and clowning in an exciting circus spectacular at the Boardwalk Theatre.
Sailing across the seas with their family of ‘foxes’ sharing their darkest secrets and scariest moments, audiences will watch their struggle to stay afloat, witnessing heart racing moments of panic and fear, finally relieved as they safely step onto shore ready to face a new future together.
FEARLESS speaks evocatively to powerful, important and timely issues around the need for us as a community to be without fear.
The performance promises to be an action packed, exciting and magical show for the whole family.
Featuring daring aerials, suspension, flying and falling, the audience will hold its breath as world class performers face their inner fears to emerge joyously unafraid of this crazy, wild and wonderful thing called life.
The show, which is suitable for children over the age of 4, will open the arts summit on Thursday, October 12 at 5.45pm, with extra performances on Saturday, October 14 at 7.30pm and Sunday, October 15 at 6.30pm.
