The partner of the Greenfields man allegedly murdered in Mandurah on the weekend has posted a heartbreaking plea to others to “make sure your loved ones know how much you care for them”.
Axel Boreski, 27, died following an alleged physical altercation on Leighton Road in Halls Head about 5am on Saturday.
His death shocked the community and left his loved ones shattered.
Barely a day after being told her partner had died, Mr Boreski’s girlfriend, Lashana Poulter took to social media to express her devastation.
“So 24 hours ago I received a phone call saying Axel had been stabbed,” she wrote on Facebook.
“An hour later [I] got told he was dead.
“How do I even process that information??
“Please everybody make sure your loved ones know how much you care for them.
“I would do anything at all to hold him again and tell him how much I love him.”
Ms Poulter also expressed gratitude to those who had contributed to a go fund me page created to raise money to give Mr Boreski “the send off he deserves”.
“Our much loved son, brother, father, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend has been taken to early from us under tragic circumstances,” family members wrote on the page.
“We have never been a wealthy family, but would love nothing more than to give [Mr Boreski] the send off we feel he deserves.
“Any help during this heartbreaking time would be very much appreciated by all his family and friends.”
A 22-year-old Halls Head man has been charged with murder over Mr Boreski’s death.
The accused was due to face Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday.
