A man who was recently released from prison on parole appeared in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday, charged with child sex offences.
The 66-year-old man, who is back in custody after the new charges prompted a parole breach, faced court via video link from Acacia Prison.
He is charged with indecently dealing with a child over 16 under his authority, encouraging a child over 16 under his care to engage in sexual behaviour, two counts of failing to comply with reporting obligations, offences by child sex offender being near a school, and supplying tobacco products or implements to a person under the age of 18.
The offences are alleged to have been committed in the Peel region, with the man indicating he would be pleading guilty to some, and not guilty to others.
A legal representative failed to appear for the man, who was remanded in custody to face court again on May 19.
