Local award-winning artists Jos and Hilly Coufreur are opening their studio to the public over the weekend, and will be joined by their artist daughter Elza Fouché for the occasion.
Jos Coufreur paints spontaneous realism and is currently working towards a solo exhibition in Maylands, to run from April 22-May 5.
His exhibition ‘Colours of Australia’ will feature lots of Australian animals, landscapes and some famous Australians.
The open studio will give visitors an insight into how he works, and a sneak preview of the exhibition.
Hilly Coufreur is an abstract artist who last year worked as an artist in residence at CASM, loves using colour and is a member of Mandurah Plein Air Artists.
Their daughter Elza loves portraiture and fashion illustration.
With a focus on colour running across the whole family’s artworks, the open studio is set to be a vibrant affair.
Come to 8 Banyon Close on March 25-26 between 10am-4pm.
