A very special cook will take over Crab Fest’s all time favourite Cooking Stage this year to share their special recipes in front of the audience.
For the first time in Crab Fest’s 19 editions, the City will be hosting a Children’s Cooking Stage Competition, to find a talented local chef under the age of 16 keen to share their skills on stage.
Participants can enter the competition for free by going to crabfest.com.au, typing out their favourite recipe and uploading a photo of them in the kitchen.
Entries close on March 8, and the winner will be announced on March 10.
The Cooking Stage is always one of the festival’s most popular attractions, featuring cooking demonstrations, celebrity chefs, recipes and the region’s fresh produce throughout the weekend.
Harvey Norman Mandurah is this year’s sponsor, taking over the stage and putting on a cooking show for local and visitor food enthusiasts.
This year’s Crab Fest will be hold on March 18 and 19.
