AIM Dance Company continued to make a big impression last year.
Owned and run by principal Brooke Longworth, the school specialises in high quality technical training whilst encouraging a genuine love of dance.
Brooke is a qualified teacher with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) and is also a fully registered physiotherapist with first class honours.
Furthermore, she has a critically acclaimed and award-winning published article in the international medical journal, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, describing her groundbreaking research into adolescent idiopathic scoliosis in ballet students.
She looks forward to the commencement of lessons for 2016 on January 30 in their fully equipped premises featuring two large studios, a kitchen and bathroom facilities and a large warm-up area and waiting room, all of which is fully airconditioned.
Following on from a highly successful past five years, AIM cemented their excellent reputation in 2016 when they competed in the Mandurah Festival of Dance, the largest dance competition in the state, as well as Onstage Performing Arts Competition in Penrhos, and the Kwinana Dance Festival, coming away with a great many placings, including numerous golds, as well as more overall highest mark awards and aggregate awards than any other school in the Peel Region.
Students also took part in CSTD Examinations in September, examined by a national examiner, and received exceptional results, maintaining their 100 per cent pass rate from all previous years as well as achieving a large number of Honours and Honours Plus results, for marks between 90-100 per cent.

In addition, the school was invited to participate in a variety of public performances and community events, giving students the opportunity to give back to the community and perform in front of a variety of audiences.
They also performed to a sold out theatre in their annual end of year concert in December, with fantastic reviews.
AIM Dance Company offers a variety of classes including classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, contemporary, theatrical, acrobatics, performance, kindy classes, conditioning, adults classes, and also gives students the opportunity to participate in competitions, CSTD examinations and public performances.
