A woman taken to hospital on the weekend following a violent incident in Halls Head which left a man dead has been released from Peel Health Campus.
The woman was rushed to the campus in the early hours of Saturday with minor injuries.
Her partner died in what police have said was a random attack at Blue Bay Apartments on Valley Road.
Damien Eric Maxfield, 38, from Mandurah has been charged with murder and attempt to unlawfully kill in relation to the incident.
He faced court briefly over the weekend and was remanded in custody to reappear before Perth Magistrates Court on January 25.
The investigation into the alleged murder is ongoing.
