The Peel Cricket Association A-grade team will kick off its 2016 Senior Country Week campaign with a clash against division one newcomers West Pilbara Cricket Association on Sunday.
After taking down Upper Great Southern Cricket Association in last year’s final, Peel is out for back-to-back titles and will come up against the likes of West Pilbara, Bunbury and Districts, North Midlands, Geraldton and Busselton-Margaret River in their division.
The winners from both divisions will progress to the final.
After facing off against West Pilbara on day one, Peel will play the following two days against Geraldton and Bunbury.
A day off on Wednesday will allow the team to recuperate for its Thursday game against North Midlands, with Peel wrapping up the regular fixture of their carnival with a game against Busselton-Margaret River at the Charles Veryard Reserve west turf.
