Mandurah detectives are seeking information from the public to assist with their investigation into an indecent assault that happened in Mandurah on Sunday, December 18.
Between 4-5pm, a 60-year-old woman was walking her dogs along the north end of Seashells Beach near Barry Street in Mandurah when she was approached by a man.
They spoke briefly and the man indecently assaulted her before walking off towards Stewart Street.
The man is described as being in his 70s, with very fair skin and freckles, approximately 177 centimetres tall, a slim athletic build, short very light blonde/red hair (possibly a wig), and no facial hair.
He was wearing a light beige coloured t-shirt with matching knee length shorts.
Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the Seashells beach area who may have seen the man, particularly a couple who were walking their brown Labrador dog and who assisted the woman.
