HIS Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand passed away last week on October 13, 2016.

As one of the longest-serving monarchs in the world, King Bhumibol leaves behind a proud legacy that spans most Thai’s entire lifetimes, and his loss is felt deeply by the team at Silk. King Bhumibol is survived by Queen Sirikit and their four children.
He is succeeded to the throne by HRH Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.
An official mourning period of 30 days will be observed by Silk Thai Restaurant, and our valued guests are encouraged to take a moment to offer their thoughts to the people of Thailand at this time.
