A whale carcass has washed up on Bathers' Beach in Fremantle.
It was spotted just after 8am on Saturday.
WAtoday reporter Brendan Foster arrived on the scene a short time later and photographed the whale.
"There is a crowd of about 30 or 40 people around along with security and rangers on the beach," he said.

The Department of Fisheries issued a warning about the carcass which was tweeted by Surf Life Saving WA.
Whales are migrating along the coast at the moment, and this week drone footage captured stunning action of a pod of six whales swimming near Rottnest Island.
