A Greenfields man who pleaded guilty to a string of firearms and weapons offences will be sentenced in October.
Lee David Garnett appeared in Mandurah Magistrates Court on Monday on 28 charges including 10 counts of possession of firearm/ammunition, six counts of possession of a controlled/prohibited weapon, other weapons charges and drug charges.
The court heard between June 17-28 this year, police uncovered Garnett’s cache in Greenfields.
Seized during the search were two 12-gauge shotguns. two bolt repeater rifles and a .177 air rifle.
Garnett also had possession of ammunition for each firearm, as well as a silencer.
Weapons seized by police included an electric shock weapon, knuckle dusters, a throwing knife and an imitation firearm.
As well as the weapons, Garnett was in possession of about $9000 worth of stolen jewellery, perfume and computer items.
He also cannabis in his possession and smoking implements.
Garnett was released on $10,000 bail, with the magistrate ordering a pre-sentence report be prepared prior to sentencing in five weeks.
