MasterChef casting producer Kate Bishop was on the hunt for cooking talents around the Mandurah and Peel regions to participate in the 2017 edition of the cooking program on Friday.
Ms Bishop traveled from Melbourne to Perth to promote the program and to visit local foodies, cafes, gourmet shops and restaurants to encourage residents to participate in the 9th season of the famous TV show.
She said she aimed to answer any questions and explain the phases in the application process to any local talented home cooks keen to give it a go
Applications are now open online for eager cooks willing to take on the challenge.
Successful applicants will be notified and invited to participate in the Perth audition round, set to take place in August this year.
The selected candidates will be invited to travel to Melbourne to participate in the second round of auditions.
