Mandurah Detectives have charged a 31-year-old Greenfields man with a string of charges following a house burglary in Pinjarra in June.
Police will allege the home was broken in to by one or more offenders who stole a number of firearms, ammunition, jewellery and electrical items.
Detectives executed a search warrant on a home in Tuart Road, Greenfields, on Tuesday.
During the search they located and seized a quantity of firearms, ammunition, jewellery and drug paraphernalia.
The man has been charged with:
- Five counts of Possess Unlicensed Firearm;
- Five counts of Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property;
- Two counts of Unlicensed Person Possess Firearm/Ammunition;
- One count of Came into Possession of three or more Firearms whilst not being a Holder of a Licence or Permit to do so;
- One count of Receiving;
- One count of Failed to Ensure Safe Keeping of Firearm/Ammunition;
- One count of Possess Prohibited Drug (cannabis); and
- One count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia.
He is due to appear in the Mandurah Magistrates Court on July 19.
