Fundraiser set up for Mandurah shark attack victim

Mr Gerring was mauled by a shark in Falcon on Tuesday evening.

“Friends and work colleagues of the Gerring Family lets rally together and show our support for Ben Gerring who suffered a devastating shark attack which resulted in the loss of one leg.

“All money raised will go towards Ben and Jasmine to assist them with this life changing event. He will have a long road to recovery so every donation no matter how big or small will help them through these tough times,” the post on the fundraising page said.

The page was set up on Wednesday and has raised $3,040 out of their $100,000 goal.
