Mandurah detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Mandurah on Saturday, March 26.
About 5pm, two women were in a craft store on Dower Street when one woman attempted to leave the store without paying for several items.
When staff attempted to stop her leaving the store, she threw various items at them.
The woman claimed she had a knife.
The woman left the store, crossed Dower Street and was last seen walking near Thomson Street.
She is described as being 40 to 50 years of age, approximately 160 to 170cms tall, with a slim build, olive complexion, light brown shoulder length hair with light streaks and brown eyes.
She was wearing a dark coloured jacket with pink stripes down the arms, dark, flared bottom pants and she was carrying a large brown bag and a pink bag with wheels.
The second woman is described as being about the same age, with white skin, a slim build, long dark hair and acne scarring on her face.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident or who can identify the women, particularly the occupants of a dark sedan outside the store who may have seen the woman as she left the store.
