SHOALWATER Bay made it a grand final double after winning the Peel Cricket Association Premier League Twenty20 competition on the weekend.
Shoalwater Bay had defeated Mandurah in the 50-over grand final the week before and it was the two sides who again met in the T20 grand final on Saturday.
Mandurah won the toss and elected to send Shoalwater Bay into bat.
Opener Hammad Khan started well hitting 33 from 28 balls and was well supported by number three Dudley Cortland with 16.
A quick loss of wickets had Shoalwater Bay at 4/61 and then 5/82 but the lower order fired with Daniel Abel 27, Graham Spinks 13, Nicholas Milligan 16 not out and Marcus Bell 14 lifting the total to 8/140.
Ian Lattimore was the pick of the Mandurah bowlers with 3/13 from his four overs.
Jeremy Leatherbarrow got Mandurah off to a strong start with a quick fire 42 from just 21 deliveries before the first wicket (Brendan Ingle 10) fell with the score at 48 followed by Leatherbarrow at 2/57.
Wicket fell quickly after that with Rhys Donald 21 and Brett Ronan 15 showing the only resistance as the run chase became harder and harder.
Eventually Mandurah finished 15 runs short at 9/125.
Khan capped off a great game with 3/18 from his four overs while Abel collected 2/9 from his four overs.
Shoalwater Bay defeated Pinjarra in the semi-final to make the grand final while Mandurah got over the line against Singleton-Irwinains in its semi-final.
