For the second time in as many years, Waroona has come under threat from an out of control bushfire.
Starting on Wednesday morning, the fire burned through Wednesday night and into Thursday.
Communities affected include Waroona, Coolup, Harvey and Preston Beach (from where locals and visitors were evacuated from the beach by Mandurah Marine Volunteer Rescue on Thursday morning).
