For the second time in as many years, Waroona has come under threat from an out of control bushfire.
The latest, which started in Lane Poole Reserve on Wednesday morning, has seen local residents once again flee for safety and spend a sleepless night waiting on updates from Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
The fast moving blaze has destroyed a vineyard, fences and sheds, but no loss of life has been reported. Continue reading
