The family of a little boy missing in Mandurah expressed relief with the boy found after being out of sight for close to two hours on Wednesday.
Seven-year-old Laphe, who suffers from a learning disability, has wandered from his Hackett Street home before.
But he had never been gone as long as this time.
The alarm was raised just before 1pm with police quick to mobilise a search effort.
The air wing was called in to assist in the investigation.
Laphe was found not far from home and brought home in the arms of his father.
